How to Rollup a "Multi-select" in such a fashion that it also matches with its corresponding property?

Self explanatory image

For e.g. I rolledup subjects (revision done) on dates. Now when I rollup that Multi-select column, it should show student has done revision on the particular subject on date.

Attached jpg is self explanatory, hope to receive the exact problem.

You can't get a date from a Notion Rollup that shows selected tags and then split the Rollup to pull the latest, because there is no latest and there are no dates in the Rollup, it is a group. Makes sense?

Using your structure, in Students you can Rollup from Revisions the Formula 1 and that will show you the dates for the Revisions grouped, the same way you are showing the subjects in the Rollup.

Other approach is to create separate views for the students in your Revision database, filter them by student and sort them by date. That way you can see any student view with all the revisions in chronological order exactly as you need.

Thanks a lot for the reply Polle, I will implement as guided. I think the 2nd approach is quit cleaner, but I will also try to implement "Slice" formula in 1st approach as a workaround.

Thanks once again.

See you.
