Hi Everyone,
I am new to Notion, so I'm sorry if I am missing something obvious. Notion looks like a great way to keep all of my diverse work together. However, I want to know if I can export a document I've written to a common Word file in order to share it with colleagues who I know aren't techy and will never use Notion in a million years?

It's a shame if I can only convert to PDF and Markdown. It means I would have to do basically all of my wordprocessing outside of Notion, thus defeating a large part of the point of using it in the first place.

As you already mentioned is not possible in Notion by default. You will need to use external tools like Make or Zapier and create an automation to move your info to another app and format.

You can share a PDF with anyone in the world that aren't techy and they will be able to open it. Also, if you use the share to web in Notion, they don't even have to open a file, they just click a link and see it in the browser.

So it really depends what you need Notion for. If you need to write in Word, use Word functions and need a Word file as the result, then maybe using Word is better for you.
