I am currently considering moving fully from Todoist into Notion.

I know that Notion enabled repeated tasks. However I have around 40-50 repeated tasks around the year.

Do you have any smart ways to do this, or is it "just" to start creating them?

Yes, you have to create them as in any other app.

You can use templates inside the database with a recurring date or you can create a button with the tasks in it.
