Not all users are US citizens. Therefore it would be a glorious idea to provide the possibility to change the date format according to the format used in the local region of the user.
Since I am adding content very often to Notion, I do not want to change the date format manually each time.

This is still not possible.
From the Notion FAQs:
Not at the moment, unfortunately. It’s definitely something we want to support in the future, though. We appreciate your patience while we make our way though our to-do list!
