Why a I missing the CSV file on export?

I have a database that I want to export as a CSV file, so I go to the 3 dots in the top right hand corner and export it, and save the zip file to my ac. However there is only a .md file in the folder.
A I doing something wrong? Howe do I get a .csv file?

Add some content to the Notion page you are exporting, usually empty pages do not export anything.

Thanks for your reply, that's useful to know however my table(s) are populated with data and still I only get a .md file

This usually happens with empty data, if that is not the case, try with another page you have, maybe there is something causing the problem in this one.

If you are ok sharing a copy of the page I can have a look and try to export it in my end.

Hello there! I have been struggling a lot with this issue, but I finally made it! Just be aware of the "Save for everyone" tab. Once you click on it, you can export a flawless .csv file. I hope this works for you.!
