I am looking to use Notion to generate invoices to customers for a business I am assisting with the workflow. I have a CRM, and an invoice database, as well as a customer order database.

Yes, natively. You don't need an add-on unless you want automatic PDFs.

1. Create an Invoices database: Invoice # (ID property with a prefix like INV), Client (relation to your CRM), Issue date, Due date, Status (Draft/Sent/Paid) and Amount.
2. If you bill per line item, add an Invoice lines database with Description, Qty and Unit price, a formula prop("Qty") * prop("Unit price"), and a relation to Invoices. Then make Amount on the invoice a rollup that sums the line totals.
3. Open an invoice page and add a linked view of Invoice lines filtered to that invoice. Add the client's address with a rollup from the CRM.
4. To send it, use Share → Publish for a link, or ••• → Export → PDF.

For follow-up, a formula and(prop("Status") != "Paid", prop("Due date") < now()) flags late invoices.
