Hi,
I would like to click on a cell in order to drag its content across multiple cells below it or above it.

Unfortunately when I click on a cell, Notion opens that cell for editing.

The workaround: I click outside of/next to it, in order to get back to it (I do that with the tab key), then when it's borders are blue with a dot at the bottom right, I drag the cell from that dot upwards or downwards.

Is there a way to avoid this workaround?

The only way using a click is clicking / drag on a cell, see it as a mini selection with the mouse inside the cell.

That will do the Notion trick to select the cell instead of editing it.

Hi, thanks, can you please be more specific as to what you mean by "clicking / drag on a cell". Thanks!

When you select text in a document, you click without releasing and you drag the cursor to select the text you want.

Do the same "inside the cell", click & drag quick to just select the single Notion cell.
