We use Notion sprint boards. People often move cards from one status (aka column) to another, e.g. from in progress to under review. As a manager of the team, I would like to understand when a card is moved from one status to another, e.g. when a card is under review.

How to do so? And would it be possible to send the notification to different users?

Note that I'm aware that the creator of the card would receive the notification. However, I would like to receive the notification even when I'm not the creator of the card.

You can use Notion automations for the properties to create exactly that.

Maybe using Slack will work better for your notifications, or you can stick to just Notion.

You will need to create the structure and columns so everything works by status, but definitely automations is the way to go.

In your database click the little thunder icon to start and just to inform, it is available for plus users or above only.
