Question

I have a Notion database of contracts, and I'd like to be able to forward finalized contracts to it when they come to my inbox. I would be fine with having to manage the metadata / properties after forwarding, but having to download the attachments and then upload them to Notion offends me, and I'm convinced that there's a better way to handle it.

There is not. The Notion API does not support file uploads yet, so unfortunately this has to be done by hand at the moment.

Hopefully the API becomes more robust soon and file uploading is possible.
