How to import tasks

I could succesfully import my tasks from excel into a Notion database.

However, I don't see a way to import this data into my tasks, nor even a way to feed my tasks from this database.

Also I tried pasting from Excel, but Notion does not recognize each line as a separate task, it would take forever to paste tasks one by one.

Any suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance.

To import select "Merge with CVS" from the task database options at the top right 3 dots.

Or open your Excel file in Google Sheets, that way you will be able to copy and paste without any problems.

Thank you! It... kinda worked!

Is there a way to automate recognition of the parent task?

Glad to help, please consider selecting the answer to mark the question as solved.

For that different scenarios, export as CVS and see that exported file to structure the ones you want to import exactly like that.
